nod.so is a subscriber management tool for founders running multiple products. It replaces Mailchimp, Kit, and whatever else you’ve accumulated with a single dashboard, REST API, MCP integration, and broadcast email at $20/month.

It’s built for the founder paying $250/month across four email services they barely use. That was us. We were on Kit for one product, Mailchimp for another, separate accounts for five products total. Four paid plans, four logins, and maybe 5% utilization across all of them.

So we built our own.

How it works

nod.so connects to any product through a REST API. Hugo sites use a form endpoint. iOS apps hit the API directly. Rails apps use a service object. One system, one source of truth across everything.

The MCP integration is where it gets interesting for AI workflows. Instead of opening a dashboard to check growth, you can ask your agent “how many subscribers did Gratu add this week?” and get an answer inline. Subscriber data becomes something you can talk to, not just something you have to look up.

Mailchimp and Kit are built for single-product businesses. When you’re running three to five products with separate audiences, you end up paying for separate accounts and managing none of them well. nod.so treats multi-product subscriber management as the default, not an edge case.

nod.so has been running in production across the mx.works portfolio since early 2026. It currently manages over 2,770 subscribers across 7 lists. It replaced four paid services and cut the monthly bill from $250 to $20.

Tech Stack

  • Ruby on Rails 8
  • PostgreSQL
  • Resend for transactional and broadcast email — open rates land where they should, no fighting Gmail tabs
  • REST API for cross-product subscriber sync
  • MCP server for AI agent integration
  • Deployed on Render

Built in 48 hours with Claude Code. Not a prototype. It’s the only subscriber tool we use across every mx.works product.

Your subscriber data lives in your account, isolated per product. We don’t touch it, market to it, or share it.

nod.so starts at $20/month, flat. No per-list fees, no seat charges. We’re opening it to founders first. Join the waitlist.
