Hello World
For those of you who know me, you know I’ve been building products and teams for over 18 years. Design, engineering, strategy. Startups, agencies, big companies. I’ve loved every minute of it.
But I’ve always built for others.
Today that changes. I’m announcing mx.works: an AI-first product studio.
What This Means
mx.works is where I ship my own product ideas. Not client work. Not consulting. Products I own, from concept to launch to growth.
The model is simple: identify problems worth solving, build apps that solve them, market them, monetize them, and keep improving them over time. Rinse and repeat across multiple products.
Everything we build is AI-first. Not AI as a buzzword or a feature bolted on at the end. AI as a core part of how the product works, how it’s built, and how it delivers value. This is the lens through which we evaluate every idea.
The Team
I’m building a small, lean team around this. Senior people only. No account managers, no layers of process, no one learning on the job. Just experienced designers and engineers who know how to ship.
The goal is to stay small on purpose. A tight team that moves fast, makes decisions quickly, and doesn’t need permission to try things. This is how the best products get built.
Why This Matters to Me
This is a fundamental shift from everything I’ve done for the past two decades.
I’ve spent my career helping other people build their visions. I’ve been in the room when the idea clicks. I’ve shipped the v1. I’ve watched products grow into real businesses. But at the end of every engagement, I handed it over and moved on.
Now I’m building my own.
Same skills, same intensity, different direction. Ownership instead of billable hours. Products instead of projects. Long-term compounding instead of starting over every few months.
I’m not doing this because I got tired of client work. I’m doing this because I finally realized that the thing I’m best at, building products, is something I should be doing for myself.
What You’ll Find Here
I’ll be using this space to share what we’re working on. New products, features shipping, experiments we’re running, tools we’re using, lessons we’re learning. The good and the bad.
No polished case studies or marketing spin. Just real updates from the studio.

This is just the beginning.
